Can we accept change

Or rather can we accept the change needed to allow us as citizens of this world to thrive. Can we legalize drugs, can we abolish crime, can our cars fly, can we create the technology to solve the problems, will we have the money???? And if not why not???????? How do we expect to get to a higher level of conscience if we keep getting bogged down????
